Facilities

Our full-service facilities provide all the essential components necessary to turn a concept into a finished film, from equipment to hardware and expert staff. Quality control, efficiency and cost management are an integral part of every Hacienda Pictures production.


QUANTEL EDIT BOX

Hacienda's post-production facilities include a Quantel Edit Box Magnum on-line and a Media 100 off-line editing suite, making extensive digital effects and post-production work possible. Desired results are achieved faster and more efficiently.


SOUND

The sound facilities at Hacienda consist of a 5.1 compatible sound recording studio, which can be used to complete anything from TV-spots and music videos to short films and full-length features. Our sound effects library numbers in the tens of thousands and we have excellent facilities for Foley recording and voice-overs.


STUDIO

A central component of Hacienda's full service facilities is it's multi-purpose in-house studio. An on-site studio makes production work as efficient, effective and economical as possible.


MOTION CONTROL

The studio also houses a four-axis camera head, located just two floors below our on-line edit. Our motion control equipment consists of a three-axis model mover, which is fully integrated into a four-axis camera head. We developed this equipment in-house, based on the requirements of our directors and cinematographers. HACIENDA MOTION CONTROL was developed to create impressive effects, visuals, as well as macro shots and animation with 3-dimensional movements. One of the major strengths of our system is its compatibility with a wide range of cameras, from a 35 mm movie camera to a 16 mm or a video production camera. The video camera can also be used to produce quick demo films. This comes in handy in cases, where, for example, information about the best way to present a product is required in the early planning stages.


MAKE-UP AND PROPS

Our facilities include areas dedicated to both make-up and props. They are in active use during both pre-production and the actual shoot and make a significant contribution to the smooth flow of all productions at Hacienda.
